Through this service, you can request the renewal of a social care facility license or a social care facility branch to provide social care in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

  • Service terms and conditions: Any social care facility licensed in Abu Dhabi can apply for a social care Facility license or Branch license renewal.
  • Required Documents:
  1. Copy of updated copy of the title deed or lease renewal
  2. valid copy of the commercial license issued by the Department of Economic Development for “companies” that is not less than three months from expiration at the time of renewal
  3. Certificate of fulfilment of the conditions and requirements of the Department of Municipalities and Transport
  4. Certificate of fulfilment of civil defense conditions and requirements
  5. Conformity certificate from the Monitoring and Control Centre
  6. List of facility’s staff
  7. A license issued by MOCD for social care facilities 
  8. Annual Center Work Report (only Family Counselling Centres)

 

  • Service Steps:
  1. Submit the application and the required documents through the available channels
  2. Receive DCD update to submit additional information or supported document if needed
  3. Receive final decision on request to Issue social care facility/facility branch license through the available channel

  • Service Fees for Department of Community Development: No Fees
  • Service Fees for Ministry of Community Development:
    • Licensing fees for social care facilities for people with disabilities "People of Determination": AED 5,000
    • Family counselling establishments licensing fees: AED 2,500
  • Timeframe to receive the service: 30 working days (from the date of application submission with all the required documents)
