Through this service, you can request to issue Approval to Make a Change in the Social Care Facility or a social care facility branch Building in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

  • Service terms and conditions: Any social care facility or branch licensed in Abu Dhabi can apply for this service.
  • Required Documents:

First Stage:

  1. Copy of the building inspection request
  2. Copy of the land map of the institution’s location
  3. Copy of the building plan showing the dimensions and sizes of rooms, halls, corridors, and sanitary facilities
  4. Copy of the title deed in case the building is owned by the license applicant or a copy of the lease contract

 

Second Stage:

  1. Certificate of fulfilment of the conditions and requirements of the Department of Municipalities and Transport
  2. Certificate of fulfilment of civil defense conditions and requirements
  3. Conformity certificate from the Monitoring and Control Centre

 

  • Service Steps:
  1. Submit the application and the required documents through the available channels
  2. Receive DCD update to submit additional information or supported document if needed
  3. Receive final decision on request to issue Approval to Make a Change in the Social Care Facility or a social care facility branch Building through the available channel 

 

  • Beneficiaries: UAE Nationals and Non-Government Entities

  • Service Fees for Department of Community Development: No Fees
  • Service Fees for Ministry of Community Development: AED 1,000 to change activity location
  • Timeframe to receive the service: 30 working days (from the date of application submission with all the required documents)
