His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development - Abu Dhabi, valued the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE - may God protect him - and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council, through the continuous support they offer by providing adequate housing that guarantees a decent life for Emirati families.
His Excellency Dr. Al Khaili stressed that the disbursement of the housing benefits package to citizens in Abu Dhabi stems from the keenness of the wise leadership to strengthen the housing system and support the emirate’s social sector, which contributes to meeting the aspirations and needs of the community to enhance family and social cohesion.
“The first package of housing benefits for the year 2023 comes with a total value of 2.74 billion dirhams, benefiting 1,800 citizens across the emirate and coinciding with Eid Al Fitr, to confirm our leadership’s approach in providing all means of support and prosperity for citizens to enjoy a better quality of life."
His Excellency congratulated all beneficiaries of the housing package, which includes the disbursement of housing loans and exemption of retirees with limited income and families of the deceased from paying housing loan dues.
