H.E Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, said that November 30 is a historic day for the nation, as it is time to remember our heroes who gave up their lives protecting our nation. H.E. noted that Commemoration Day is a perfect occasion to celebrate the defenders of truth, peace, and justice.
In a statement, H.E. Dr. Al Khaili said: “This occasion fills our hearts with pride as it reminds us of the bravery and selflessness of our heroes that helped the UAE to keep its flag flying high at all times.”
H.E. Al Khaili also highlighted the exceptional leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the rulers of the emirates, who have provided continuous support to the families of the martyrs, as they kept the country continuously moving forward.
