She went on to say: “The Department has reached the final stages of launching Abu Dhabi's ‘Family's Quality of Life’ Strategy, which is a major focus in our priorities for its importance in studying and analyzing the current and future social challenges that affect the quality and stability of family life, in working on the challenges facing families such as divorce, reluctance to marry, and the challenges related to work-family life balance, with emphasis on the importance of motivating youth participation and activating the role of senior citizens in society. This shall be implemented through a group of sustainable programs and initiatives that contribute to addressing the current and future challenges, which the families in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi face.”

The launch of the strategy will come as a result of cooperation and integration between local and federal authorities and private and third sectors; within the framework of the Department's responsibilities as an agency responsible for regulating the social sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and concerned with improving the quality of services in the sector and with providing a decent standard of living to all members of society, in line with the guidance of the leadership of Abu Dhabi's government to increase the rates of happiness and satisfaction expressed by both citizens and residents with regard to the living standard in the Emirate.
