Through this service, you can request to issue a license for an NGO branch within AD for an established NGO outside AD
- Service terms and conditions: Providing all required documents in accordance with the Federal Law No. (2) of 2008, regarding the Licensing of public interest associations & civil society foundations (NGO) with its amendments, and the Federal Decree Law No. (35) of 2020, which are available on the official websites.
- Required Documents:
- A request letter to open a branch within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, clarifying the objectives and location (Abu Dhabi/Al Ain)
- Copy of the registration
- Copy of the constitution
- Data of the Board of Directors members of the main branch, including “name, position, contact number, email, and Emirates ID number.”
- Data of the members of the new branch, including “name, contact number, email, copy of passport, copy of Emirates ID.”
- Minutes of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting approved by the licensing entity regarding approval to open a branch in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- Draft regulations for the new branch.
- Service Steps:
- Submit the application along with the required documents through the available channels (ngo.licensing@addcd.gov.ae)
- Receive the final approval on the request once completed
