Through this service, you can request to issue a license for an NGO branch within AD for an established NGO outside AD

  • Service terms and conditions: Providing all required documents in accordance with the Federal Law No. (2) of 2008, regarding the Licensing of public interest associations & civil society foundations (NGO) with its amendments, and the Federal Decree Law No. (35) of 2020, which are available on the official websites.
  • Required Documents:
  1. A request letter  to open a branch within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, clarifying the objectives and location (Abu Dhabi/Al Ain)
  2. Copy of the registration
  3. Copy of the constitution
  4. Data of the Board of Directors members of the main branch, including “name, position, contact number, email, and Emirates ID number.”
  5. Data of the members of the new branch, including “name, contact number, email, copy of passport, copy of Emirates ID.”
  6. Minutes of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting approved by the licensing entity regarding approval to open a branch in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
  7. Draft regulations for the new branch.

  1. Submit the application along with the required documents through the available channels (ngo.licensing@addcd.gov.ae)
  2. Receive the final approval on the request once completed
