HE Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development (DCD), emphasised that the UAE’s 51st National Day represents the pathway of development pioneered by the founding fathers. He stated that the UAE has become one of the most advanced countries in terms of development and leadership, and that it serves as a model for unity and togetherness around the world.

HE said: “Our founding fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his brothers, laid the groundwork that helped the nation to rise as a prominent country among other nations. Their constant efforts and pursuits have helped the UAE to prosper and progress, as well as shape a better future for the next generation.” He asserted that over the past 50 years, the world has witnessed the UAE’s capability of overcoming any obstacles, as well as developing a modern country built on the core values of justice, equality, tolerance, and acceptance.

HE further noted that the UAE is home to people of many different nationalities from across the world, who coexist peacefully and contribute to the country's advancement, prosperity, as well as help position the nation as a leader in several different fields. HE said that the citizens and residents of the UAE unanimously support the wise leadership in ensuring happiness as well as promoting the ideals of unity and community cohesion for the prosperity and success of the country.

He added that the UAE has made significant progress in several fields, including social and humanitarian, over the past few years. “This is something that the people of the UAE can always be proud of, as we look into the future and make every effort to achieve the UAE Centennial 2071, in accordance with the vision of the wise leadership,” he further emphasised.
