His Excellency Engineer Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, said: “On Commemoration Day, we feel proud of those who laid down their lives for this great country and its people. They will remain permanently in the memory of our leaders as well as all of us.”
H.E. added: “We have learned valuable lessons from our martyrs and heroes who expressed the highest forms of loyalty to the nation and its leadership, and their sacrifices will remain forever in our collective memory. Our leadership seeks to immortalize our heroes, and their names will shine through history of the nation that was founded on the principles of unity, loyalty and courage.
Al Dhaheri concluded: “We pray to the Almighty Allah to forgive them, and to protect our country, our wise leadership, as well as the families of the martyrs.”
