His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili highlighted that Emirati women are strategic partners in building and enhancing sustainability, playing prominent developmental roles that significantly contribute to the prosperity of society and the shaping of UAE’s future. Their innovative approach serves as a model to be emulated in the present and the future.

In his remarks on Emirati Women's Day, His Excellency praised the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, ‘Mother of the Nation, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation. He highlighted that her directives embody the UAE’s commitment, since the era of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to empowering Emirati women, enhancing their role in decision-making and contribution to sustainable development, allowing them to prove themselves as invaluable partners in building a strong nation with a bright future.

He added, “Emirati women have played a pivotal role in developing our society, demonstrating great dedication and perseverance in preparing a generation capable of advancing toward a sustainable future. Our children and youth are the fuel of our economy, and Emirati women are the driving force that effectively helps transfer knowledge and experience to future generations. Over the years, Emirati women have proven their ability to balance their roles as mothers and educators with their significant contributions across various sectors of society, making them true partners in sustainable development and continuous growth.”

His Excellency also expressed his appreciation for the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, thanks to which Emirati women hold a distinguished position in society, making Emirati Women's Day an occasion to celebrate the country's pioneering efforts in empowering women and recognising their pivotal role in sustainable development.

His Excellency pointed out that the achievements of Emirati women across various fields and sectors — including parliament, politics, society, and the economy — have made substantial positive contributions to decision-making and have driven the wheels of development and prosperity.
