Through this service, you can request for an approval to Modify NGOs Name

• Service terms and conditions: Providing all required documents in accordance with the Federal Law No. (2) of 2008, regarding the Licensing of public interest associations & civil society foundations (NGO) with its amendments, and the Federal Decree Law No. (35) of 2020, which are available on the official websites.

• Required Documents:

1. A request letter including the new name and the reason for the modification
2. After approval by the DCD and the ministry, the applicant must:
   - Hold an extraordinary general assembly meeting in coordination with the relevant team in the DCD.
   - Provide the DCD with a copy of the announcement in local newspapers
3. Copy of the minutes of the approved extraordinary general assembly meeting
4. Copy of the Registration with the amended name

• Service Steps:

1. Submit the application along with the required documents through the available channels (ngo.licensing@addcd.gov.ae)
2. Receive the final approval on the request once completed
